BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Friday, 22 February 2013 – The Ministry of Defence and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) this evening simultaneously organized thanksgiving ceremonies at the suraus of respective Garrisons to commemorate Brunei Darussalam 29th National Day’s celebration.
For Bolkiah Garrison the function was held at Surau Bolkiah Garrison and was attended by Deputy Joint Force Commander, Colonel (U) Hamsani bin Hamid.
The ceremony began with the reading of surah Al-Quran followed by a mass Maghrib prayer. Then a mass reading of the Surah Yassin and Doa Kesyukuran was later read. The function ended with a mass Isya’ prayer and organised by Directorate of Force Capability Development and Directorate of Intelligence.
